Sharapova banned for two years after positive dope test

World famous and wealthiest woman tennis star Maria Sharapova has been banned for two years after her Dope test appeared positive while the tennis star has filed appeal against the decision in sports court.

Former number one tennis star and five time winner of grand slam champion, 28-years old Marya Sharapova’s dope test appeared positive in Australian open and she was banned for two years by International Tennis Federation.

Marya Sharapova is the seventh athlete whose prohibited medicine Meldonium test appeared positive and the medicine is used in diabetes and other diseases.

It is pertinent to mention here that World Anti Doping Agency Wada has included Meldonium in prohibited medicine in start of this year.

On the other hand appealing against the decision in the sports court Sharapova said that she did not use the prohibited medicine intentionally so she will not accept the ban.
