LAHORE: Sharif family members including Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz called on former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Kot Lakhpat jail.
The PML-N activists and workers poured flowers and conducted sloganeering as the reception on the Sharif family members’ arrival at the Kot Lakhpat jail.
Maryam Nawaz briefed his father regarding her meeting with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Besides that, she also apprised him about the agenda of all parties’ conference, party’s mass contact campaign, and the cases of Sharif family.
Similarly, Shahbaz Sharif inquired about the health of his elder brother and consulted over the country’s political situation of the country.
Keeping security situation in mind, jail officials did not allow any PML-N leader meeting with Nawaz Sharif today.
On the other hand, personal doctor of ex-premier Dr. Adnan in his tweet informed that he several times requested to the jail official allow him to meet with his patient but they did not heed to it.
