ISLAMABAD: The PPP leader Sharjeel Memon has been granted bail by Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday in the charges of corruption allegations.

According to details, the case of corruption against Sharjeel Memon heard by the two-member bench headed by the chief justice of Islamabad High Court Athar Minallah.

PPP leader appeared before the IHC and requested the court for bail in Sindh Roshan Program corruption case as NAB has summoned him on January 10 and likely anti-graft watchdog can arrest him.

“I am ready to cooperate with the NAB but the court should bar it to arrest me,” Sharjeel Memon told the court in his plea.

On which, the court has accepted his bail till January 1 against the surety bonds of Rs 0.5 million.
