KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday expressed anger on Sindh government, commissioner Karachi and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) over unavailability of rabies vaccination in the province.
A petition against unavailability of rabies vaccine in the province was heard by Sindh High Court bench headed by Justice Mazhar Ali.
During the course of the hearing the court expressing anger on provincial government, commissioner Karachi, KMC and other concerned officials and said that all the matters will be fixed on calling of three officers in the court adding that the matter is getting grave while the court stressed that someone have to take responsibility of the matter.
Later, the court ordered additional secretary local government, additional secretary health and director municipal commissioner to submit reply on the matter until September 25 and adjourned the hearing till then.
It is pertinent to mention here that rabies incidents have reported threshold after increase of stray dogs around the province including Karachi.
