KARACHI: Sindh High Court on Tuesday directed the police, Rangers and other authorities to recover and release the five missing persons including a school teacher.
The court also sought reports from the concerned authorities regarding the missing persons by March 9, 2017.
An SHC bench heard petitions for recovery of five missing people including a school teacher. The court directed the authorities to recover the missing people including school teacher Abdul Mateen, Mulana Muhammad Saeed and others.
In its order, the court instructed police, Rangers and other relevant authorities to make all possible efforts to recover the missing people and submit report about progress by March 9, 2017.
One of the petitioner, Abdul Aziz, brother of missing school teacher Abdul Mateen, submitted that his brother had left for school in Khamosh Colony from his home. But he went missing on the way to school, he added.
He apprehended that his brother might be killed extra judicially, pleading the court to orders the concerned authorities to recover his brother.
