KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday ordered to reopen Darul Sehat hospital, which was sealed on April 24 after a nine-month-old girl, Nashwa Ali, passed away due to the negligence of staff.
The SHC heard a case pertaining to the shutdown of Darul Sehat hospital. As the hearing went underway, the petitioner maintained that the hospital was sealed on verbal orders of Sindh chief minister which is against the violation.
Earlier today, section 302 (murder) was added to the FIR in the Nashwa death case.
On the other hand, two doctors who were accused of alleged medical negligence over the death of a minor Nashwa in a hospital of Karachi managed to flee after the cancellation of their bail in the case.
As per details, a local court in Karachi heard a case pertaining to alleged medical negligence that claimed the life of a minor Nashwa in a Karachi hospital. Two of the accused doctors Atia and Sharjeel appeared before the court. The court during the hearing ordered to cancel the bail of the accused doctors.
However, both accused successfully fled the court premises after the cancellation of bail. Both doctors are already nominated in additional charges of murder.
The owners of the hospital Amir Chishti and Farhan Chishti are still out on bail, granted to them by the city court.
