KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday heard plea filed against arrest of the former petroleum minister Dr. Asim Hussain.
A petition filed by wife of Dr. Asim Hussain was heard by the Sindh High Court stating that the detainment of the former federal minister was illegal in case pertaining to medical facilitation to terrorists.
Earlier, Rangers Sindh had submitted response in the court that Hussain was arrested in 2016 over medical treatment and providing hiding to terrorists.
During the hearing, SHC directed the Sindh authorities to submit its reply in upcoming hearing on February 13. Later, the court adjourned the hearing.
