Multan (March 21, 2018): Police have registered a case against the accused over hurling shoe on a senior judge in Multan district court.
Clause of anti terrorism act were also included in the case. According to the details, an under-trial theft accused hurled a shoe at a civil judge in the courtroom over languishing in jail despite issuance of his bail orders.
Accused Muhammad Ijaz appeared before Civil Judge Zahid Qayyum and raised a hue and cry, saying that the court had granted him bail but he was yet not released due to absence of his release orders. The judge was hearing the case when all of a sudden, the accused hurled his shoe at the judge. The judge left the courtroom and went to his retiring room.
