Sialvi Demands Shahbaz to Show Sana’s Resignation or Step Down

Gujranwala (December 24, 2017): Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi, the caretaker of the Sial Sharif shrine, has demanded of the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to produce the provincial  Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan’s resignation by December 31st or step down from the post.

While addressing ‘Khatm-e-Nabuwat’ conference in Gujranwala, Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had promised to produce the law minister’s resignation but he could not fulfill his promise so far.

“How will Shehbaz Sharif run the government when he can’t even make his servant (Rana Sanaullah) resign,” the spiritual leader said.

“Let’s all promise that we won’t vote for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). If anything goes wrong, I’ll be the first one to take the bullet,” he added.

“Don’t provoke us. Otherwise, we will reach the assemblies” Sialvi said. He  warned that the Punjab government would be forced out of power if the provincial law minister was not ousted from his post.

On December 6, Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi had announced his dissociation with the ruling party, PML-N, after claiming that 15 lawmakers of the party were with him.

He reiterated his demand for a resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and said that it was “final.”

Speaking to the media, Pir Sialvi said that they would have no association with the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) moving forward. “Fingers are being pointed at us for entering into a deal (with PML-N0,) he said.

Earlier the custodian of Dargah Sial Sharif had postponed his demand for Sanaullah’s resignation, following his telephonic conversation with Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif.
