KARACHI: The young sick boy Deedar reached Sindh Assembly to draw the attention of legislators where he was stopped by the administration to go into the Assembly building saying that children are not allowed to enter it. This made Deedar’s father Jehanzeb to register his protest against the indifference of the Sindh government by sitting on the stairs of the Assembly.
However, Abb Takk acted after hearing Deedar’s plea for help the member of Sindh Assembly belonging to PTI Khurram Sher Zaman took Deedar to the Assembly with him. Talking to media Khurram said that Deedar is his guest in the Assembly today just like Governor and chief minister have guests.
Khurram assured Deedar’s father Jehanzeb of all possible help. However, when Jehanzeb tried to show his son’s medical reports to Sindh Health Minister he passed him by neglectingly and a little later the security personnel kicked poor Deedar and his father out of the Assembly courtyard.
The security authorities said that children are not allowed to enter the Assembly and thus they kicked Deedar and his father out.
Meanwhile sick Deedar’s father Jehanzeb has announced to stage a sit-in at the steps of Sindh Assembly till the Sindh government bear the expenses of his son’s medical treatment.
