KARACHI: In a rare move, the Sindh assembly has approved unanimously the motion against the removal of cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed, who was deprived of captaincy and dropped from Australia tour.
The Sindh assembly has also adopted the resolution against the federal government for not including a representative from Sindh in Indus River System Authority (IRSA). Interestingly, the opposition and government who are always in lock horn during assembly session came on a page and unanimously approved both the motions.
In his address, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that false cases have been filed against him but he was not afraid of such kind of malign designs.
Assembly has demanded the federal government to review its decision over the IRSA and Sarfraz Ahmed should be getting back in the team.
The session has been prorogued till October 25.
