KARACHI: Sindh Cabinet on Monday passed bill to restore student unions in the province.
According to the CM Sindh spokesperson, the Sindh Cabinet green-lightened the bill related to the restoration of the student unions in the province.
The bill will be sent to the Standing Committee of Law and Justice and consultation will be made with the stakeholders on the issue.
According to the proposed law, students will not be allowed to bring arms in the educational institutes, while acts to create hate will also be banned.
Student union will comprise of 7 to 11 members, which will be chosen by the students.
