Sindh Cabinet Expresses Anger Over Rise in Load Shedding  

Karachi (April 09, 2018): The Sindh Cabinet has expressed resentment over unannounced and rise in load shedding across the province including Karachi on Monday.

The provincial cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and taking the notice of long power outage expressed dissatisfaction over the power crisis.

Meeting has approved the minutes of the previous meeting and also given the approval of appointment of  Fayyaz Shah as new prosecutor general in place of  Shahadat Awan, who had resigned from his slot.Sindh cabinet has given go ahead in amendment in laws of slum authority budget 2017-18 and labour laws.

The provincial information minister told the meeting that the minimum wage of a labour  will be increased to 15000 per month, while suggestions have also been under deliberation in amendment in laws of Sindh Employees Social Security amendment bill 2018and Sindh Workers Welfare Funds amendment bill 2018.

The chief minister Sindh Murad Ali shah told the meeting that the suggested amendments will be presented in Sindh Assembly as Sindh government will present budget for next financial year on May 05.
