Sindh CM Complains Of Getting Lesser Funds From Federal Govt

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday complained of getting lesser funds from the federal government during the budget session.

Addressing to budget session Sindh CM said that the federal government was supposed to pay Rs666 billions to the provincial government but they reduced the amount by Rs35 billion which affected the speed of the development projects of the province.

On the other hands, Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) lawmaker Arif Jatoi criticized the Sindh government of wasting the billions of the province’s budget for the sake of the Omni group.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Heer Soho in the house termed Parvez Elahi, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Aijaz Shah, Parvez Khattak and Aleema Khan as angels for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) by raising their images in the house and demanded the anti-graft watchdog to arrest them.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Kanwar Naveed Jameel assured all the possible support to make the anti-polio drive successful.

However, an electricity breakdown forced GDA’s Waryam Faqeer Nizamani to speak up in the dark.

Later on, the deputy speaker adjourned the session till Thursday.
