KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday inaugurated the newly-constructed Younisabad Bridge on Hawksbay Road.
The chief minister said that the provincial government was executing 18 development projects at a cost of Rs10 billion in Karachi, saying that these projects would be completed by June this year.
The chief minister was told that the bridge and the connected 2.4 kilometers long road was constructed as a cost of Rs 219 millions. It was further told that the project bridge was an important project of District West which connect Manora island with the city.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the chief minister said that the project would benefit the local people. The chief minister directed the concerned department’s engineers to complete Gulbai to Hawksbay Road at the earliest.
