KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has rejected the claims against him made by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) affiliated target killer in a video statement, terming it a ‘conspiracy’.
While addressing a graduation ceremony at the National Institute of Management, the Sindh CM said that he never met target killer Zubair alias Thelay Wala.
Yesterday, in a video statement, the MQM-L hitman claimed that he met Murad Ali Shah.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said: “I have found out who created this story.”
Murad Ali Shah further said that Zubair was under Rangers custody in 2017. “I will talk to DG Rangers and find out the target killer’s political connection.”
Responding to a question about the vehicle with government number plate, the PPP leader said the FIR has been lodged against the car.
“After the investigation, it was found that vehicle belongs to the Governor House,” he added.
