Sindh CM visits Malir hospitals, announce to provide more doctors, staff

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday visited different hospitals of Malir and announced to provide more doctors and paramedical staff at the hospitals of the area.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Urban Hospital at Aasu Goth Malir, the chief minister said that the hospital’s foundation stone was laid some 20 year ago, which was inaugurated today.

He added that the facility had been constructed at a cost of Rs40.80 million.

On the occasion the chief minister directed the concerned authorities to set up Water Board’s division in the area to supply water to Malir areas.

When a reporter pointed out that Sindh Health Minister was not attending his office due to which people were suffering, the chief minister told the journalist that it was wrong to say the minister was not giving time to this ministry, adding that he was visiting the hospitals across Sindh and monitoring the facilities being provided to masses.

During the visit, the chief minister listened to the complaints of area people at Burns Centre Malir. On the complaint of lack of doctors and paramedical staff the chief minister announced to provide more doctors and staff at the hospitals.

Shah also met PPP leader Jaam Bajar during the visit at his residence and inquired about his health. The CM presented him flowers bouquet.

The CM was accompanied by provincial ministers Jam Khan Shoro, Dr Sikerndar Mendhro, Imdad Pitafi and MPA from Malir Sajid Jokhio.
