Karachi (December 3, 2017): The annual Sindh Culture Day highlighting the traditional cap and Ajrak as well as the language and culture that dates back to thousands of years is being observed with a fervor, enthusiasm, and pride all across the Sindh province today.
A large number of people are participating in the event by donning the traditional Sindhi cap and Ajrak to express their love for Sindhi culture which back to thousands of years.

Students held hands to form human chains and performed tableau and traditional dances to express love and pride for Sindhi culture.
Attired in shalwar kameez and wearing Sindhi cap and Ajrak, youth, women and children brought out big and small rallies while dancing on popular Sindhi songs to celebrate the day.
Clad in traditional clothes, people, especially children and students, took out rallies and held other programmes to mark the day in various cities and towns across the province.
Speakers demanded to preserve Sindhi’s cultural heritage. They said Sindhi language was ancient and rich in literature.
Musical shows and stage programmes were also arranged at different places.
Numerous ceremonies and events are being held across Sindh in Thatta, Badin, Hyderabad, Shikarpur, Ranipur, Naushehro Feroze cities since early this morning.
It may be mentioned here that the Sindh Cultural Day is being celebrated on the first Sindh of December every year.
A convoy of motorcycles and other vehicles in scheduled to arrive at outside Karachi Press Club where a dance will be performed on the traditional Sindhi folk songs.
Like elsewhere across Sindh where various political outfits and cultural organizations organized a Maach Kutchery the participants of which donned the Sindhi cap and the traditional Ajrak. The event was attended by a three-member delegation of US Consulate in Karachi.
