KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi Lt. Gen Naveed Mukhtar called on Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and discussed security situation with him in the backdrop of the latest act of terrorism in Quetta.
Meanwhile, a decision has been made to call the meeting of provincial Apex Committee in the first week of November to review the security in the province.
The chief minister informed the Corps Commander Karachi that security has been further beefed up at the police training centres of Sindh police after the Quetta incident.
A decision over the stern strategy against the illegal immigrants would be made at the meeting of Sindh Apex Committee.
During the meeting the political and the military leadership agreed to deal anyone taking the law in his own hands with iron hands.
