Sindh govt approves lifting ban on new recruitment in all departments of provinces

Karachi: The Sindh cabinet on Wednesday approved to lift ban on new recruitment in all department of the Sindh government.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah presided a cabinet meeting today while provincial ministers, advisors, chief secretary, Chairman P and D Najam Shah and respective secretaries were in attendance.

Murad Ali Shah ordered the provincial law minister and advocate general Sindh to end ban on new hirings in all the departments of the Sindh government.
The CM apprised that the government has started projects on financial worth of 100 million dollar with the cooperation with the donor agencies for Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement project (KWSSIP).

He said that the KWSSIP aims to provide clean drinking water and improving the infrastructure of the Water Board.

The CM informed that the world bank will provide 40 percent of the whole cost while 40 percent will bear the Asian Infrastructre Investment Bank (AIIB) while the Sindh government will provide the rest 20 percent.

The Sindh government today approved releasing on its part of Rs 646.756 millions.
