Sindh Govt To Conduct Probe Of Safdar Arrest

Karachi: Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that a false case was made against capt (retd) Safdar adding that the matter will be investigated and responsible will not spared.

Addressing a presser in Karachi, the CM Sindh said that the PML-N leadership had come to Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum and in between something went wrong and it should not be happened.

He said that everyone has to respect the sanctity of the mausoleum while he said that the sloganeering on the mausoleum not happened for the first time adding that the PTI leadership has disrespected the mausoleum for several times in the past.

The informing the provincial government version of capt (retd) Safdar arrest, he said that a PTI MPA went to police carrying an application for registration of a case while the MPA tried to pressurize the police but the police didn’t take any pressure while the PTI MPA was told it was a violation of a law but the police didn’t have powers to register the case but magistrate has a power on the matter.

The CM Sindh said that it is not work of an elected representative to threaten the police adding that a federal minister was also gave ultimatum to police while PTI registered a false case through an application by a person named Waqas.

He said that a probe into the capt (retd) Safdar arrest will be conducted and the people involved in the case will not be left unpunished.
