Sindh Govt To Help Floods Victim In Construction Of Their Houses: Sharjeel

Karachi: Sindh information and transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon today apprising daily update of relief and rescue operation in interior Sindh said that the deaths owing to the floods and rains climbed to 745.

In his regular briefing regarding relief and rescue operation for floods and its victims, the minister informed that as many as 3, 76, 000 live stock have lost while 1.8 million houses were destroyed completely.

On other hand, the crops stretched to 37,00,000 acres were devastated.

Sharjeel apprised that as many as 2, 908 relief camps are established for the flood victims across the interior Sindh while 3,00,000 tents and 2.3 million mosquito nets were distributed.

The Minister apprised further that flood victims are being provided ration bags, food, water and medicines around the clock.

On the behalf of the Sindh government, the Minister has announced that the government will provide help in building houses of the victims.
