PESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq Saturday criticizing government said that its negligence lead to growing number of polio cases in Pakistan. He said that Government has to change the behavior after Eid.
Talking to media, Haq said that growing number of polio cases is not good for the country. He said that lack of local bodies system also affected the polio campaign across the country.
The JI Ameer said that local government elections should be conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before Sindh and Balochistan.
He said that Government did not resolve IDPs problem due to on going political crisis. He advised Federal Government to resolve IDPs problems on priority basis.
Siraj said that JI has called IDP jirga on Oct 9 to discuss IDPs problems in details.
Talking about the political jirga he said that it has curtailed the danger of political confrontation. Speed breaker will also end after the Eid.
Replying to a question about his meeting with Asif Zardari, JI Ameer said that he discussed several important issues with him.
