Lahore (September 15, 2017): Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif has never accepted the verdicts of the courts.
Reacting to Supreme Court’s judgment rejecting review petitions of members of Sharif family, Siraj said that the culture of arrogance on the part of rulers must end.
Addressing the public meeting at Bhatti Chowk, which was part of party’s electoral campaign for its candidate contesting by-election in NA-120 constituency here Siraj asked the judiciary to do something to bring the looted money back to the country.
Asking the people whether they would be voting for the truth or falsehood Siraj asked the voters in NA-120 said that eradication of corruption is now written on the wall. He also asked federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to resign or at least vacate his office until court clears him.
Siraj also asked chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhary to resign.
