Siraj Demands PM To Donate Rs 5 Billion From His Business To Flood Victims Instead Asking Donations

Islamabad: Chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Siraj Ul Haq has asked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to donate Rs 5 billion from his own business for flood victims instead of asking donations from the people.

Addressing a seminar on the destruction owing to the floods in Islamabad today, Siraj Ul Haq demanded the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and all the major countries to write off Pakistani debt as the worst calamity hit the country.

Praising the United Nation Secretary General António Guterres, Siraj Ul Haq said that the UN secretary general has taken a good step by demanding industrially developed countries to help the Pakistanis flood victims.

Siraj Ul Haq said that the people not drowned in the floods but they have been forced to drown while explaining it further, he apprised that the Pakistan army had made a cut in an area of Sindh to save people from the flood water but when the army left the feudal lords shut down the cut and left the people to drown.

The JI chief questioned, when the rich billionaire and millionaire of the country helped the flood victims?

He demanded Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to give donation of five billion rupees from his own businesses instead of asking donations from the people.

He said that the Pakistani nation has proved in an every calamity they triumphed in it.

The JI chief Siraj Ul Haq demanded a prompt health and agriculture emergency in the flood hit areas.

Siraj Ul Haq also demanded the government to provide free seeds, urea and spray on the emergency basis in the flood hit areas.
