Siraj Telephones Qureshi, PM Ajk To Apprise Grim Situation of IHK

Lahore: Ameer Jamat Islami Siraj Ul Haq has said that the occupied Kashmir has been in a complete lock-down for eight months while a mammoth 8000 youths have been imprisoned in Indian jails.

The JI Ammer on Wednesday telephoned Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Premier Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Hyder regarding the constant state of the lock-down in the IOK.

Siraj Ul Haq urged the government to bring the attention of the international community, the United Nations, Security Council and the European Union towards the grim situation of IOK.

In his telephonic conversation with the duo he apprised that abusive behaviour is being used against the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Leaders (APHC) while imprisoned Kashmiris did’nt have any contact with their family members.

He said that the continued lock-down has completely paralyzed the economic activities in the IOK .

Shah Mahmood Qureshi talking on phone said that Indian attrocities in the IOK will be raised once again on the international forums in light of your [Siraj Ul Haque] suggestions

The FM Qureshi praised the JI efforts on the cause of Kashmiris while he also informed that ” I am making contacts on a daily basis for the cause of Kashmiris.” Qureshi said.
