Siraj Vows To Fight For Rights Of Karachi

KARACHI: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq on Sunday said that the metropolis is being ruled by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and it is strange to see the demand for water from a party which is ruling the city since past 30 years.

Talking to a rally organized by JI in Karachi he said that the people of Karachi are suffering from water shortage and a party which is ruling the city since the past several years is ironically asking for water.

He said, “The Karachiites do fulfill their water need with the help of tankers.”

“The current rulers were used to say that they bring a change within 100 days and since the past one year of their rule they have destroyed the country’s economy,” he added.

By thanking the citizens of Karachi he said that this is just the beginning and this movement will not stop.

Siraj said that this is just the beginning of a mass movement from Karachi to Chitral for the rights of 220 million people of the country.
