LAHORE: Senator Siraj ul Haq on Tuesday took oath as Ameer of the Jamaat e Islami (JI), Pakistan, for the second time.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at JI head office Mansoora, Lahore which was attended by representatives from different political and religious parties, lawyers, workers, media men.
Addressing the oath taking ceremony JI Ameer said that elections in the country were engineered and only those people were declared elected who were loyal to the actual rulers.
He said that apparently, the government comprised of political people but the actual power was in the hands of nonpolitical masters.
Sirajul Haq stressed upon the government to check price spiral and termed it worst form of terrorism.
