Bhawalnagar (June 2, 2017): Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested four alleged terrorists affiliated with banned outfit during an action taken near Darbar Syed Rasool here.
According to the details, Security forces on Friday foiled a major terror bid in Bahawalnagar and arrested at least four terrorists from Manchanabad area.
Four kilogram of explosive material, hand grenade, detonators, and other merchandise were recovered from the arrested terrorists.

According to incharge CTD Akmal Basra the arrested terrorists were planning to carry out act of terror at some prominent place. They were installing explosive material near a sensitive building. Security forces have recovered weapons and explosive material from the possession of the suspects.
The arrested terrorists have been identified as Muhammad Naeem, Tehseen Askari, Omer Yar, and Zahir Khan. They shifted to an unknown place for further investigation.
Meanhwile, two most-wanted terrorists Illyas and Daud were apprehended from Mandni area of Charsadda who were involved in 109 terror activities. Two suicide vests, 30kg explosives, nine missiles and nine rocket launchers were recovered from a house after the identification of terrorists.
According to DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid, the terrorists belong to TTP Sheikh Khalid group and were detained on a tip-off of intelligence agencies. Moreover, an escaped suspect Sajid Zamam carries Rs15 lac head money.
