PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations, Ajmal Wazir has said that the government is paying special attention to the development of the tribal areas.
Addressing media on Thursday, Ajmal Wazir said Smart lockdown currently imposed in 214 areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The measures are aimed at controlling the epidemic in KP. Smart Lockdowns will continued to be in force where the novel coronavirus cases increase.
In addition to this, he said Smart lockdown lifted in 89 areas of the province.
Earlier he said the government has prepared a good budget in the present difficult situation of Corona and has given due importance to the health sector and Ehsas Programme.
. He further said that on the directives of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, the district administrations, health and relief departments were monitoring the areas with smart lockdown and the strategy of smart lockdown has proved useful in controlling the spread of coronavirus.
