WebDesk (April 4, 2018): Social platform Snapchat has introduced a new feature of group video chat that enables a user to connect 16 people at a time in order to experience more interactive fun factor and easy access to tag friends and family in Snaps.
“We designed Chat to feel less like texting and more like hanging out. That’s why when a friend opens Chat, their Bitmoji pops up to say ‘I’m here!’ – and why your Chat conversations aren’t saved forever, by default,” team Snap said in a blog post.
The company further added in the blog post that Today, we’re making Chat even more fun. Now you can video chat with up to 16 of your friends at one time. Just tap the video camera icon in a Group Chat to get your friends together!, Friends in the Group Chat will receive a notification inviting them to join.
All Snapchaters will be able to connect with 16 people at a time for video chat while 32 people in audio group chats simultaneously. However, a user can toggle to video to audio or audio to video in group chats easily just by a single tap.
The company has also enabled an option to tag friends in Snap stories as well to increase the interaction of snap stories.
The update of the application has already rolled out, update application to enjoy the all-new feature and better user experience.
