Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the South Punjab secretariat was a promise of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government and it has been fulfilled.
Provincial minister for irrigation Mohsin Leghari called on the CM Punjab while he congratulated the CM over the appointment of officers for the South Punjab secretariat.
The duo discussed matters of job opportunities and the formation of new districts and tehsils for South Punjab.
The CM said that with the establishment of South Punjab secretariat local people will not have to come to Lahore for their work while decisions will be taken on administrative grounds regarding the formation of new districts and tehsils adding that population and distribution of financial resources will be reviewed with profoundness.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the decision for the formation of new districts and tehsils will be taken on merit while no area of the province has been neglected nor it will be in the future.
He added that tehsil of Rajanpur, Jampur will be taken together in the journey of development.
