ISLAMABAD: Leaders of PPP have said that Speaker National Assembly (NA) is in the pressure of the government and helpless over the issue of production orders of the party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking to media along with others leaders of the party, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that “we cannot say whose pressure is on the Prime Minister Imran Khan while the Speaker NA is showing partiality adding that parliamentary traditions have been bulldozed and disrespected.”
Sherry Rehman said that there is no need to consult the ministry of law over the issue of production orders of former president Asif Ali Zardari as role 90 exists for the purpose.
Khursheed Shah talking in this scribe said that the country’s PM not ready to acknowledge the sanctity of the parliament while it seems that the PM is still standing on the container referring to 2014 sit-in and protest in Islamabad.
Shah further added that it looks that the government is in fear of over voting on the budget which reflected that the government did not want to discuss the budget in the parliament.
