Islamabad: A special federal cabinet meeting is underway in the prime minister office today (Friday) to take stock of two points agenda.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is presiding the special federal meeting which is second in the week.
An approval of the cabinet will be taken to send a presidential reference over the Reko Diq project in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) after the government decided to take guidelines on the Reko Diq project from the SC.
The ministry of law and justice has sent the summary to the federal cabinet over the Reko Diq.
Sources said that the cabinet meeting will also deliberate upon to overcome the electricity crisis and the timings for closure of markets.
On the other hand the huddle will also approve the formation of a high-level committee to investigate the audio leaks of the Prime Minister House.
