ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Inter-Provincial Coordination, Fehmida Mirza on Monday said that the sports diplomacy is part of their future agenda and the government is committed to promoting sports as it allocated funds for it.
Talking to the prize distribution ceremony on International Junior Squash players she said that the country which was once famous for squash went out of the scenes for long and it is good to see that our youngsters are doing well in the game.
The minister said that she has faith in the country’s youth as the can achieve big things with the help of hard work.
She said, “The sports of the country are not in a good state and we have allocated funds to promote the sports and the government will continue to work on improving things,” she added.
“We are committed to promoting squash and urged other sections of the country to help in promoting the sports,” she concluded.
