ISLAMABAD: Judge of Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) Suhail Ikram issued non-bailable arrest warrants of chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Tahirul Qadri, and other suspects in the case pertaining to committing violence on and causing injuries to SSP Asmat Junejo during the sit-ins.
According to sources the ATC directed DSP Idrees Rathore to himself get the non-bailable arrest warrants complied with.
The case against the suspects are registered for committing violence to uniformed personnels, interfering in state work, and also under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The case was registered on September 19, 2014.
