President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah have reached to further agreements for the formation of the new cabinet.
Sources in Presidential Palace have said the new cabinet will include seats for at least four women.
The two sides have also agreed to introduce new figures in the cabinet and former ministers can not serve in the government, sources further added.
President Ghani and CEO Abdullah have also agreed to appoint professionals in the technical ministries, based on talent and nomination to the relevant positions.
According to the sources, nominees for the technical ministries should have clean record and must not have any background in corruption.
President Ghani and CEO Abdullah have also agreed to gradually introduce the new nominees to the Afghan parliament for trust voting.
