ISLAMABAD: Pakistani government has denied reports of exchanging any sort of documents with Britain related to Altaf Hussain’s case. Chaudhary Nisar said that no name shall be listed in the ECL merely on statements.
Addressing to the media, interior minister said that Britain’s high commissioner has been consulted in that matter, whereas, no documents or proofs have been presented but the FIR of Altaf Hussain.
When questioned about Saulat Mirza, he said that his execution was halted over request of government of Balochistan while his video tape was received afterwards. However, President’s orders were being awaited for the decision of his execution.
Referring to Shafqat Hussain’s case, he said that execution of the death row prisoner was an internal matter and the government has extended his execution for at least a month. Morever, the government formed committee to analyze the situation.
