Stranded Hindu Pilgrims Rescued In Flood-Hit Balochistan: ISPR

QUETTA: Pakistan Army teams have rescued more than 150 stranded Hindu pilgrims from the flood-hit mountainous region of Balochistan’s Ziarat area after hours of rescue operation here on Sunday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), more than 150 Hindu pilgrims stranded in the mountainous region of the Balochistan’s Ziarat region have been rescued after a continuous rescue operation in the flood-hit areas and have been shifted to safe places.

The rescue operation was carried out by the Army’s helicopters ad lasted for 36 hours, added ISPR.
