Street Crimes Spike in Karachi as Eid Approaches

Karachi (June 22, 2017): Street crimes have surged in city as Eid is approaching.

As per details, street crimes have increased in Karachi abnormally as many criminal groups have become active in the city.

A single group has looted shops  in Shah Faisal Colony and Gulistan-e-Jauhar.  In Korangi Industrial Area, a cattle farm owner got injured after he put up resistance to a dacoity bid.  However, one of the dacoits were killed in police firing while the other was arrested in injured condition. The third one managed to flee.In another incident, police arrested two dacoits who were looting people on gun points. The arrested dacoits were identified as Sheraz and Asif. Police recovered arms, snatched mobile phones and dragger from their possession.On the other hands, police foiled a bid to loot a citizen who had withdrawn cash from ATM on Shahrah-e-Faisal. Police arrested the dacoit who was identified as Nasir. Police also recovered the looted money from the dacoit.

Police arrested two target killers of a political party including Yaseem Ghori from Model Colony.
