KARACHI: Sindh High Court on Friday acquitted a suspect nominated in a case pertaining to possession of illegal weapon(s), nullifying a trial court’s verdict.
As per details, Sindh High Court heard on a plea filed by suspect namely Javed seeking sentence suspension in illegal weapon case.
After inspecting the proceedings, the court termed trial court’s decision of serving punishment as an outlaw and accepted Javed’s prison-term as punishment.
A trial court had sentenced accused Javed to 14 years of imprisonment back in 2016.
