DAMASCUS: The death toll rose to 46 in a car bomb blast on Saturday in the rebel-held town of Azaz in northern Syria.
Most of the dead were believed to be civilians. Dozens of people were also injured in the explosion in the town near the Turkish border, reports said.
The explosion occurred outside a courthouse in the town, some just 7km from the Turkish border. Azaz has recently been targeted by so-called Islamic State (IS).
