Islamabad (March 04, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Leader Jahangir Tareen on Sunday approached the leader of independent senators senator-elect Anwar ul Haq Kakar and extended his felicitation to them over their success on Senate seats from the province.
According to details, a delegation of the party will soon hold a meeting with the independent senators-elect. The venue and time of the meeting are being finalized.
The telephonic exchange and proposed meeting are being seen as efforts on part of PTI to woo the senators to join Imran Khan-led party.

Six independent candidates clinched six seats out of 11 from Balochistan in Saturday’s Senate election.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Sunday, a two-member Pakistan People’s Party delegation met Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo in order to pursue the group of six independent senators for their bid to elect the Senate Chairman from the PPP.
The two member delegation comprised of veteran PPP leader Qayyum Somroo and former Speaker of the National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi.

Talking to media later, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudus Bizenjo said that they would approach every political party of the province and has no differences with any party.
“The senators of our group are infront of all and they are committed to work for the rights of Baloch people,” he said.
He said that the work needed for the development of Gwadar area was not carried out as per the need of the people of the area.
