Technical Edu. Can Raise Living Standard, Chairman TEVTA

Islamabad(May 26, 2018): Chairman Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said that Pakistan can overcome with not only unemployment but also raise the living standard of people just by giving importance to technical and vocational education.

In a statement, Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that TEVTA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with “Yeh Ghar Application” and under this agreement, the database of more than 150,000 TEVTA graduates and currents students will be available on the App.

He said the step is a milestone in achieving the TEVTA’s 100 percent employment target by providing more job opportunities to TEVTA students.

The Chairman said that another important target set for this year is to double the number of female enrolment in various courses and availability of data of the beauticians on this App will help female students in getting reasonable jobs.
