CHITRAL: Anwar Ali of Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa got married to American woman Claire Stephen
According to a report, groom Anwar Wali belongs to Upper Chitrali area of Boni, while Anwar Ali is a famous polo player and a poet of Khowar language. Anwar Ali said in an interview to the media that “Stephen and I met a year ago in Chitral when she was staying at our hotel in Chitral, during which Stephen had come to Chitral for a few days. Stay the same for 6 months.”
During this time, Stephen liked Chitral very much and then they decided to get married, now their marriage is done, the Walima will take place in our native village Boni with all the formalities.
On the other hand, the American woman told that she accepted Anwar Ali as her husband because he was simple and moral, before she traveled the world but never found beauty like Chitral. Stephen said that she will go back to America after marriage but she will try to spend most of my time in Chitral.
