The party which sets corruption’s record is running campaign against corruption: Ch Nisar

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has said that the party which itself set corruption’s record was running campaign against corruption.

Addressing a public meeting in his constituency in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan came down hard on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

He mocked PPP’s recently-launched drive against corruption, saying that the party which itself set corruption’s record was running campaign against corruption.

He added that development of backward areas was the top priority of the incumbent government.

He said the government was putting forth best efforts to honor the confidence reposed by the people.

He said in Chakri and other areas adjoining it there were no roads and bridges since the British left sub-continent but today the area has eleven bridges and well developed road network.

The Minister said during the last three years electricity supply, water supply schemes, roads network and health and medical facilities in the area were ensured. He said the foundation of development is laid by leaders having pain for the masses.
