The World Bank predicts difficulties for economic growth targets in Pakistan

The World Bank has predicted of difficulties Pakistan will face to achieve economic development target during current fiscal year, stating that economic development rate will remain five percent in Pakistan.

In its report, The World Bank stated that economic activities in Pakistan are gradually increasing, adding that CPEC project will develop energy production and construction sector.

The report said that there will be need for infrastructure development and bulk investment for midterm to reduce poverty and stable development.

Report added Pakistan among those countries, where poor income is not in middle level, but is in the rapidly increasing class.
