ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said that Pakistan did not want to play any dirty politics on the issue of regional peace, and will not let any terrorist outfit to do so.
During his interview to a British Broadcasting, he said, “There wasn’t any sort of pressure on us for Abhi Nandan’s release, we wanted to give them a message of peace and harmony. Pakistan wanted to let India realize that it wanted peace in the region.”
“Pakistan does not want to go back in the past, if it happens then we would be forced to determine the causes of Parliament Attack, Ori and Pathankot incidents. This is a long tale,” he added.
“Pakistan will not let any non-state actor to spoil regional peace, we are willing to eradicate terrorism. If India will provide sufficient documentary evidence against Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) we will take action against them,” he concluded.
