KARACHI: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri on Monday said that there will be no election in 2018 rather will be selection.
Addressing a workers convention of PAT in Karachi, Qadri said that corrupt leaders get strength from a corrupt society. He said that only corrupt leaders protect and patronize corruption.
He said that he never took up arms and even collar’s button of anyone was broken during his party’s movement. He added that he did not ever opened the doors of his party for chieftains and landlords.
Qadri said that in the past the deteriorating law and order situation of Karachi had its impact on the organization of PAT in the city.
“As the situation has now improved considerably, we will hold a big show at Bagh-e-Jinnah by strengthening their party’s structure in the city,” he added.
