ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday said the anti-corruption body has first priority to leading the mega corruption cases to its logical end while making the country corruption free is the faith of the institution.
A huddle was held in the NAB headquarters and presided over by the Chairman NAB justice (retd) Javed Iqbal.
Talking to the anti-graft watchdog officials, the Chairman NAB justice (retd) Javed Iqbal urged officers to full fill their duties according to law, hard work, commitment and strong evidence.
Chairman NAB said that they all made the NAB as a credible institution adding that the body was fulfilling its duties against the corrupt elements of the society around the whole country without any pressure.
Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said the NAB received as many as 54, 344 complains in last 13 months which reflected people trust on the body while all these complaints were reviewed and scrutinized as per law and later of those 2, 125 complaints were investigated.
The chairman NAB said that the body was active to recover whole life hard earned money of poor people from private housing societies.
